Plan a visit to Antioch.

What to Expect When You Visit Antioch (Virtually or In-Person)

Welcome to Antioch Baptist Church of Cleveland.
Thanks for stopping by. This page will tell you everything you need to know about Antioch and let you know what to expect if you join us online this weekend.

In-Person Worship
Worship is held every Sunday at 11 a.m. in our Sanctuary on the corner of E. 89th Street and Cedar Avenue in Cleveland’s Fairfax Neighborhood.

Online Worship
You can join us on any Sunday virtually, accessing the live service through Facebook or YouTube Live. You can also worship online individually at any time with the recorded worship experiences.

What to Expect
When you worship with us at 11 a.m. each Sunday, you can expect a welcome and call to worship, followed by a musical selection from our Worship & Arts ministry. The Scripture is read by a member of the Clergy Ministry, followed by a musical selection, and then Rev. Dr. Harris (or guest preacher) delivers a strong Word to the congregation. Worship services typically last 90 minutes.

What should I wear?
All are welcome at Antioch Baptist Church; many attendees wear traditional Sunday attire (e.g., dress, skirt, slacks for women; suit jackets for men), but feel free to dress comfortably

Where should I park?
You can park in several lots adjacent to the Church, including the main parking lot west of the church. There is also an ancillary parking lot across from the church’s main front doors, and congregants can also park in the adjacent Cleveland Clinic parking lot at no charge for Sunday morning services.

Where should I go in?
There is elevator access from the main parking lot for anyone with mobility challenges. The sanctuary can also be accessed via the two main sets of doors on Cedar Avenue and E. 89th Street.

What about music?
Worship and Arts has always been an important part of Antioch. Every worship service features a variety of worship and arts praise, including the Mass Choir, Children’s Choir, or Praise Team – as well as our other arts ministries in dance, spoken word, and the like.

What about giving?
Each Sunday, an opportunity is extended in giving as a part of the worship experience. Giving is an expression of faith in our reliance on the Creator who is the ultimate provider. We believe that our gifts of tithes and offerings directly contribute to the building of God's Kingdom here on earth and our mission assignments at Antioch Baptist Church.

What about my kids?
Every Sunday, we host several programs for youth, including a Youth Worship Service at 11 a.m. Children also have the opportunity to participate in the children’s choir and the youth praise team, which both rehearse on Sunday mornings, as well.
